“Hen” was first introduced as a gender-neutral pronoun to reduce bias in job advertisements—so ability mattered more than gender. At Dr Hen Says, the idea goes further: judgments shouldn’t be based on health conditions either. “Hen” stands for fairness, clarity, and focusing on what truly matters.
Dr Hen Says first hatched in 2016 as a mascot with a big dream: to make health fun. By early 2018, Dr Hen appeared on Instagram with illustrated posts full of quirky health facts that made people smile and learn at the same time. In 2022, the project stepped into the Metaverse, launching the very first health infotainment center. Fast-forward to 2024, and it grew again — shifting fully into video, where the characters took center stage to explain health topics with humor, heart, and even a touch of medical drama. Some viewers have even started calling it “Hens’ Anatomy” — a nod to the mix of real health storytelling and playful drama. Along the way, Dr Hen Says built a strong presence on TikTok and Instagram, and teamed up with foundations across the globe to bring health awareness to new audiences. Today, Dr Hen Says is still true to its mission: making wellness entertaining, accessible, and unforgettable — with new horizons ahead, exploring fresh platforms and creative formats to share health stories with even more people.
